Instead of a story I'll share with you a poem written by my husband.
Ana, The warrior
From tropical lands of colour and zest,
you are strength, courage and protest!
Your mind is strong, your beliefs immense,
perseverance unbounded, you never sit on the fence!
Three children raised with no kin by your side
their characters and ambitions fill me with pride
Pride that you Ana, have nurture their souls
brought them through life avoiding the trolls.
It's not been easy to put it mildly,
but I know in your hands they'll learn wisely
Your pathway forwards, to some seems strife
yet you stand as a beacon grabbing at life
Your fears are hidden and carried deep,
yet through the cracks love does seep
A protector of Earth, a mother of three
a friend to many, poppet to me.
